Baby & First Toys
A first toy has a different job from every other toy: it is mouthed, dropped, wiped and handed to a baby who has no idea what it is. Our Baby & First Toys range carries 100 wooden pieces for the first three years — rattles, teethers, stacking rings, sensory balls, rolling toys, push-alongs and pull-alongs.
Everything in the range is built around two constraints. First, size: nothing that can fit through a small-parts cylinder is sold to the under-3 market. Second, finish: the surface has to tolerate saliva and repeated wiping, so we use water-based finishes tested to EN71-3 and avoid exposed hardware on mouthing surfaces.

Buying notes
What to check before you order
Under-3 items are age-graded and small-parts tested. Where a product can be used both as a teether and a toy, the finish and the shape are checked against mouthing requirements, not just play requirements.
If you are building a range rather than buying one item, start with two or three bestsellers in the range and add depth later. We will send a loading plan and carton list before production starts.
Other ranges
Mix a container across ranges — most buyers do.
