Why Yunhe

Yunhe is a small county in Lishui, Zhejiang, and almost everything in it is connected to wood. Timber yards, sawmills, paint suppliers, carton printers, laser engravers and export forwarders sit within a short drive of each other.

That density is why a wooden toy made here can be re-cut, re-painted and re-packed in days rather than months — and why a change you request on Monday can be in a sample by Friday.

What we make

1,000 SKUs across nine ranges: building blocks, Montessori and early learning, puzzles, pretend play, baby and toddler, games and logic, art and music, open-ended play, and outdoor ride-on.

Most are solid wood. Birch plywood appears where a stable, thin panel matters: puzzle boards, busy-board backs, dollhouse walls.

How the work is organised

Timber and cutting — species and thickness chosen per product; parts cut and kiln-dried to a stable moisture content before sanding.

Sanding and assembly — three grits on edges and corners; hardware, axles and hinges fitted and pull-tested on the line.

Paint and print — water-based paints and inks only, cured before the next stage; every batch keeps a paint record so a test report can be traced back to it.

Packing — colour box, kraft box, display carton or gift box, with your barcode, warnings and importer details printed in.

QC — in-process checks plus a pre-shipment inspection on every order, with photos before the cartons are sealed.
