What it asks for is a shape that fits a baby's hand, not a screen. The finished piece measures , measuring about 28.5*18.5*17cm/1.8kg and is cut from solid hardwood.

Making it is a seven-stage job, and the finish is the slow part. Mouthing surfaces are left untreated or finished with a food-grade oil where the design allows it. The surface is sealed with a water-based primer and finished with water-based paint tested for EN71-3 migration.

It runs from 2 pieces and takes around 30 days to produce. A private-label version can change the finish, the packaging and the manual without a new mould. Sample dispatch is 3–7 working days by courier.

Customisation

Logo (engraved or printed), paint colour to a Pantone or physical sample, timber species where the design allows, packaging (colour box, kraft box, display carton, gift box), printed warnings, barcode and importer details. Customisation on an existing product does not need new tooling; a new shape does, and we quote that as a one-off line.

Compliance

Tested to EN71 (EU), ASTM F963 and CPSIA (US) as required for the destination market, with CE marking where applicable. Reports are supplied per model. Age grading and small-parts classification follow the band shown above; warning text is printed from your artwork or matched to the destination market.
