Learn & Sort
Montessori materials work because they isolate one idea at a time: one shape, one colour, one size difference. Our Learn & Sort range carries 170 wooden materials for that job — shape sorters, colour sorting trays, counting boards, number rods, lacing and threading sets, bead mazes, busy boards and sensorial boxes.
The range is used by nurseries, preschools, speech and occupational therapists, and by retailers who want a wooden educational section rather than a plastic one. Because the same material is often sold to a classroom and to a parent, most SKUs come with two carton options: a retail box and a bulk carton.

Buying notes
What to check before you order
Where a material carries a printed card, number or letter, the print is applied with water-based ink and checked for abrasion. Small parts are sized and tested against the age grading shown on each product page.
If you are building a range rather than buying one item, start with two or three bestsellers in the range and add depth later. We will send a loading plan and carton list before production starts.
Other ranges
Mix a container across ranges — most buyers do.
