Play is mostly about independent work a child can repeat alone, with sorting and classification that precedes counting arriving without being taught. The product is a single piece and measures , measuring about 27.8*24.2*8cm, in solid hardwood.

Making it is a seven-stage job, and the finish is the slow part. Sensorial pieces are cut to matched dimensions so that the size difference is the only variable a child can feel. The finish is checked under raking light, because a defect that is invisible on a shelf shows up in a child's hand.

It runs from 27 pieces and takes around 7 days to produce. Customisation covers logo, paint colour, timber and packaging, with the dieline printed to your artwork. Sample dispatch is 3–7 working days by courier.

Customisation

Logo (engraved or printed), paint colour to a Pantone or physical sample, timber species where the design allows, packaging (colour box, kraft box, display carton, gift box), printed warnings, barcode and importer details. Customisation on an existing product does not need new tooling; a new shape does, and we quote that as a one-off line.

Tested to EN71 (EU), ASTM F963 and CPSIA (US) as required for the destination market, with CE marking where applicable. Reports are supplied per model.
