About this product

A wooden stacking set for the 3–5 age band, Montessori Sensory Developmental Toy for Baby Wooden Stacking Puzzle Toy Shape Sorters is one of the 1,000 wooden toys we make. The point of the toy is trial-and-error problem solving without a wrong answer; the second benefit is the kind of open-ended play that does not have a screen. The main body is solid hardwood, measuring about 20 × 18 × 6 cm.

Making it is a seven-stage job, and the finish is the slow part. Each face is sanded through three grits, then sealed with a water-based primer so the colour coat does not raise the grain. Parts are tumbled and hand-sanded, then checked for splinters and loose hardware before assembly.

MOQ 50 sets; allow 9 days for production. Logo, colour, wood species and packaging can all be changed on a production order. We send a physical sample before any production run.

Customisation

Logo (engraved or printed), paint colour to a Pantone or physical sample, timber species where the design allows, packaging (colour box, kraft box, display carton, gift box), printed warnings, barcode and importer details. Customisation on an existing product does not need new tooling; a new shape does, and we quote that as a one-off line.

Compliance

Tested to EN71 (EU), ASTM F963 and CPSIA (US) as required for the destination market, with CE marking where applicable. Reports are supplied per model. Age grading and small-parts classification follow the band shown above; warning text is printed from your artwork or matched to the destination market.

FAQ

What piece counts work best for retail?
For retail shelves, 20–50 piece sets sell to parents, 100+ piece sets sell to schools and playgroups. A 36-piece hollow block set is a common first order.
Are the blocks compatible between sets?
Unit blocks follow standard proportions within a range, so houses and roads can be built across two or three SKUs. If you need cross-set compatibility we will match dimensions before sampling.
Can we order a mixed container?
Yes. Most buyers mix several SKUs; we build a loading plan before production.
