About this product

This wooden loose-parts set belongs to the Open-Ended Play range and is built for babies from about 18 months. The point of the toy is the texture and weight of real wood; the second benefit is sorting and patterning without a worksheet. It measures about 30 × 25 × 20 cm. It is made from solid hardwood.

It is made the way we make everything in this range. Natural sets are sorted by tone within a batch so that a bag reads as one set rather than a mix. Every edge is sanded through three grits and the corners are rounded before the finish goes on.

10 pieces is the minimum run and production takes roughly 45 days. Your logo, your box and your warning text can be printed in; the shape stays the same. A stock sample ships within a week.

Customisation

Logo (engraved or printed), paint colour to a Pantone or physical sample, timber species where the design allows, packaging (colour box, kraft box, display carton, gift box), printed warnings, barcode and importer details. Customisation on an existing product does not need new tooling; a new shape does, and we quote that as a one-off line.

Compliance

Tested to EN71 (EU), ASTM F963 and CPSIA (US) as required for the destination market, with CE marking where applicable. Reports are supplied per model. Age grading and small-parts classification follow the band shown above; warning text is printed from your artwork or matched to the destination market.

FAQ

Can we buy natural, unfinished sets?
Yes. Unfinished and oiled sets are both available. Unfinished wood is not suitable for mouthing under-3s unless a food-grade finish is specified.
How much colour variation is normal?
Natural hardwood varies in tone and grain between pieces and between batches. We sort for consistency within a set but cannot make wood uniform.
Can we customise it?
Yes — logo, colour, wood species, packaging and barcode. Customisation on an existing product does not need new tooling.
