About this product

This wooden loose-parts set belongs to the Open-Ended Play range and is built for babies and toddlers. The point of the toy is sorting and patterning without a worksheet; the second benefit is the texture and weight of real wood. It ships as a single piece, measuring about 10 × 10 × 18 cm, in solid beech.

It is made the way we make everything in this range. Because there is no print or fixed assembly, the quality check is on surface finish and dimension consistency. The surface is sealed with a water-based primer and finished with water-based paint tested for EN71-3 migration.

The commercial side is simple: MOQ 100 pieces, 7-day production. A private-label version can change the finish, the packaging and the manual without a new mould. Samples go out in 3–7 working days.

Customisation

Logo (engraved or printed), paint colour to a Pantone or physical sample, timber species where the design allows, packaging (colour box, kraft box, display carton, gift box), printed warnings, barcode and importer details. Customisation on an existing product does not need new tooling; a new shape does, and we quote that as a one-off line.

Compliance

Tested to EN71 (EU), ASTM F963 and CPSIA (US) as required for the destination market, with CE marking where applicable. Reports are supplied per model. Age grading and small-parts classification follow the band shown above; warning text is printed from your artwork or matched to the destination market.

FAQ

Can we buy natural, unfinished sets?
Yes. Unfinished and oiled sets are both available. Unfinished wood is not suitable for mouthing under-3s unless a food-grade finish is specified.
How much colour variation is normal?
Natural hardwood varies in tone and grain between pieces and between batches. We sort for consistency within a set but cannot make wood uniform.
What is the MOQ?
MOQ is 100 pieces for stock colours. A custom colourway or printed box usually starts at 100–300 pieces.
