A wooden busy board for preschool children, Wooden Montessori Busy Board with Switches Lights Buttons Educational Sensory Toy is one of the 1,000 wooden toys we make. The point of the toy is language for size, colour and number; the second benefit is sorting and classification that precedes counting. It ships as a single piece, measuring about 12.5 × 6.5 × 19.2 cm, in solid hardwood.

The production route is straightforward; the time goes into sanding and finishing. Boards are finished on both faces, because a material that is wiped down daily needs the same protection underneath. The surface is sealed with a water-based primer and finished with water-based paint tested for EN71-3 migration.

10 pieces is the minimum run and production takes roughly 9 days. Logo, colour, wood species and packaging can all be changed on a production order. A stock sample ships within a week.

Customisation

Logo (engraved or printed), paint colour to a Pantone or physical sample, timber species where the design allows, packaging (colour box, kraft box, display carton, gift box), printed warnings, barcode and importer details. Customisation on an existing product does not need new tooling; a new shape does, and we quote that as a one-off line.

Compliance

Tested to EN71 (EU), ASTM F963 and CPSIA (US) as required for the destination market, with CE marking where applicable. Reports are supplied per model. Age grading and small-parts classification follow the band shown above; warning text is printed from your artwork or matched to the destination market.
