About this product
Our wooden learning material — Wood Science Educational Products Diy Engineering Teaching Kit Wooden Hydraulic Excavator — is made for school-age children. It gives a child sorting and classification that precedes counting, and gives the adult concentration that comes from a material that fits the hand. It ships as a single piece, measuring about 25.5 × 18.5 × 9.5 cm, in solid hardwood.
It is produced on the same line as the rest of the Montessori range. Knobs and pegs are glued and pinned, then pull-tested at the specified force before packing. Every edge is sanded through three grits and the corners are rounded before the finish goes on.
100 pieces is the minimum run and production takes roughly 25 days. Your logo, your box and your warning text can be printed in; the shape stays the same. Samples go out in 3–7 working days.
Customisation
Logo (engraved or printed), paint colour to a Pantone or physical sample, timber species where the design allows, packaging (colour box, kraft box, display carton, gift box), printed warnings, barcode and importer details. Customisation on an existing product does not need new tooling; a new shape does, and we quote that as a one-off line.
Compliance
Tested to EN71 (EU), ASTM F963 and CPSIA (US) as required for the destination market, with CE marking where applicable. Reports are supplied per model. Age grading and small-parts classification follow the band shown above; warning text is printed from your artwork or matched to the destination market.
