About this product

Part of our Art & Music range, Wooden Pound and Tap Bench Toy Early Education Xylophone With Hammer Musical Instrument is a wooden musical instrument designed for children from 12 months. The point of the toy is rhythm and turn-taking in a group; the second benefit is cause and effect a child can hear. Dimensions are , measuring about 27 × 14 × 22 cm; the set is a single piece.

It is made the way we make everything in this range. Painted parts are finished with water-based paint and checked for EN71-3 migration before packing. Every edge is sanded through three grits and the corners are rounded before the finish goes on.

8 sets is the minimum run and production takes roughly 15 days. Logo, colour, wood species and packaging can all be changed on a production order. A stock sample ships within a week.

Customisation

Logo (engraved or printed), paint colour to a Pantone or physical sample, timber species where the design allows, packaging (colour box, kraft box, display carton, gift box), printed warnings, barcode and importer details. Customisation on an existing product does not need new tooling; a new shape does, and we quote that as a one-off line.

Compliance

Tested to EN71 (EU), ASTM F963 and CPSIA (US) as required for the destination market, with CE marking where applicable. Reports are supplied per model. Age grading and small-parts classification follow the band shown above; warning text is printed from your artwork or matched to the destination market.

FAQ

Are the instruments tuned?
Xylophones and glockenspiels are tuned to a diatonic scale. Drums and shakers are checked for tone and volume consistency rather than pitch.
Can instruments carry our brand?
Yes — laser-engraved or printed logo on the body, and a printed box or cotton bag.
Can we order a mixed container?
Yes. Most buyers mix several SKUs; we build a loading plan before production.
