About this product

In the Art & Music range, Montessori Infant Wooden Musical Instrument Set Game Educational Baby Sensory Rattle is a wooden musical instrument for babies from about 18 months. The material and the shape support the confidence of making a sound on purpose and hand control from holding a mallet or a brush. It ships as a single piece, measuring about 21 × 13 × 8 cm, in solid hardwood.

It is produced on the same line as the rest of the Art & music range. Painted parts are finished with water-based paint and checked for EN71-3 migration before packing. The finish is checked under raking light, because a defect that is invisible on a shelf shows up in a child's hand.

MOQ 4 sets; allow 31 days for production. Logo, colour, wood species and packaging can all be changed on a production order. We send a physical sample before any production run.

Customisation

Logo (engraved or printed), paint colour to a Pantone or physical sample, timber species where the design allows, packaging (colour box, kraft box, display carton, gift box), printed warnings, barcode and importer details. Customisation on an existing product does not need new tooling; a new shape does, and we quote that as a one-off line.

Compliance

Tested to EN71 (EU), ASTM F963 and CPSIA (US) as required for the destination market, with CE marking where applicable. Reports are supplied per model. Age grading and small-parts classification follow the band shown above; warning text is printed from your artwork or matched to the destination market.

FAQ

Are the instruments tuned?
Xylophones and glockenspiels are tuned to a diatonic scale. Drums and shakers are checked for tone and volume consistency rather than pitch.
Can instruments carry our brand?
Yes — laser-engraved or printed logo on the body, and a printed box or cotton bag.
What is the MOQ?
MOQ is 4 sets for stock colours. A custom colourway or printed box usually starts at 100–300 pieces.
